I have been working for Community Futures North Fraser
since August, 2005 and became the Administrative Assistant II - Finance

Michele Blackwell
Business Analyst
I recently moved to the Fraser Valley and came to
Community Futures North Fraser in August 2008. I have commercial lending
and accounting management background, dealing with small to medium sized
businesses. This experience was developed through many years in a
commercial banking environment.
My role as Business Analyst is primarily to provide
loans to qualified applicants to help them get their businesses up and
running or to help them expand their existing business. Often, chartered
banks and credit unions are restricted in what they can lend to help
small businesses, but here at Community Futures North Fraser we have much
more lending flexibility, particularly if you have a great idea, a viable
business plan and the dedication to carry it out.

Allan Main
Executive Director
For the past five years I have worked as a management
consultant in Kelowna, assisting many small companies with market
strategy and product development. I have been active in supporting
Community Futures in the Central Okanagan as a member, at various time,
of the self-employment committee, the loans committee and the board of
directors.
I bring a depth of business knowledge to the Community
Futures North Fraser office, with my experience as a small business
owner, as a marketing manager for companies in the high tech sector, and
as a freelance marketing and management consultant. My business
experience is supported by an MBA degree earned from the University of
British Columbia.
